The Seaforth Highlanders, also known as the Ross-shire Buffs, were a regiment in the British Army that existed from 1881 to 1961, and is now part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Its predecessor regiment was formed in 1781 by Kenneth Mackenzie, the first Earl of Seaforth. They are most associated with the north Highlands of Scotland and their base was at Fort George, Invernes-shire. This figurine depicts a sergeant of the regiment in full dress uniform.
Stands 9cm tall and is cast from high quality 100% lead-free pewter. Presented on a base of polished wood, using off-cuts from our bagpipe workshops.
