Wearing an Inverness Cape and Deerstalker Cap, everyone knows that Sherlock Holmes lived in 221B Baker Street, London. Less folk know that his creator, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, was born in Edinburgh and studied medicine at the university there. Holmes is even said to have been inspired by Joseph Bell, surgeon of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. A statue of Holmes now stands in Edinburgh, near to where Conan Doyle was born.
Stands 9cm in height and is cast from high quality 100% lead-free pewter.
Presented on a base of polished wood, using off-cuts from our bagpipe workshops.
